Subject: An open letter to display my frustration, in public

Dear Mr. Bipin Kumar,

I won’t give you my introduction since I believe that you must already be knowing me. Not that I’m famous or anything, but I believe in the past 5 months, you would have come across my name in your inbox over two dozen times.

However, for the benefit of the aam-aadmi, who would be reading this letter, I would like to introduce myself. I’m an average middle-class student of IIT-Delhi, who in his fourth year of his study, got a very simple idea on which he decided to start-up, along with his friend Apoorv. It was during the inception phase of our start-up, thewittyshit.com, that one of my friends told me about the so-called ‘India’s Biggest B-plan Competition PQR’ organized by e-cell, XYZ college. After reading the details of the event on the brilliantly designed website, I got motivated to participate in the grand competition. I was thrilled to see avenues such as PQR, which promoted entrepreneurship right from the idea level. But, unfortunately, PQR has disappointed me beyond limits. We came second there and even now, after six months, we haven’t received our promised prize money.

…to be continued…
